'I was wrong': Officer who shot 911 caller gets 12½ years
Attorneys for a Minneapolis police officer convicted in the fatal shooting of an unarmed woman who had called 911 are asking a judge not to send him to prison, proposing instead that he report to jail each year on the woman's birthday and the anniversary of her death.
